What are mini solar panels?

Solar panels are the devices comprises of many individual solar cells used to convert light energy from the sun to electrical energy by photovoltaic effect. The energy is in the form of particles of photon which is fed into the semiconductor solar cells composed of silicon, phosphorous and boron to give rise to electrical energy. Mini solar panels are smaller in size but work in the similar photovoltaic process. Power generation in these panels can be ranging from 2W depending on the size of the solar panel. Hence it can be used for off-grid applications. Basically it is compact, nomadic and can be used for varied purposes which employ movement from one place to another.

Flexible solar panels have a lightweight design used for charging and powering devices. It is made up of organic silicon cells which is very thin like a hair strand and flexible however it’s  life is less compared to    traditional solar cells.

It is used to charge solar compatible chargers which requires charge controller with MC4 connectors and battery or you can use a suitable adapter to charge.
